SIM Switchgear asked us to help them brand their revolutionary product, viewsafe™ – an inspection window which allows safe condition monitoring of live electrical switchgear, designed to highlight potential faults within an electrical system.
To kick off the project, we took the client through one of our brand workshops. We needed to get under the skin of the product so we could understand what it did, how it worked and where it would be used. We also needed awareness of audience types, competition and channels for future promotion.
Next came a brand audit. This brand had evolved over time and in the process had lost consistency. To create the biggest impact we’d need social media, print and digital collateral to act as one. It was time to give this brand some oomph!
By developing bold messaging and a tone of voice that resonates with target audiences, viewsafe™ has strengthened its brand presence both online and offline.
We amplified the impact of the colour palette by simplifying it, always leading with the hero colour, viewsafe™ red. Combined with a new brand typeface and a dynamic suite of patterns, the brand is now equipped to captivate and engage its audience at every stage.
Digital brand guidelines ensure the viewsafe™ visual identity remains consistent across all channels, whilst flexibility allows the brand to evolve creatively as it moves forward.
